Mobile app developer

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Mobile App Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that deliver smooth, reliable, and user-friendly experiences.

You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and product teams to translate requirements into effective mobile solutions. This position is well suited to someone with a solid foundation in mobile application development, strong technical problem-solving ability, and the communication skills needed to collaborate across functions.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop mobile applications for Android, iOS, or cross-platform environments using technologies such as Flutter or React Native.
• Build, test, debug, and maintain mobile application features to ensure quality and usability.
• Collaborate with designers to implement intuitive, user-friendly mobile interfaces and experiences.
• Work with backend developers to integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and data sources.
• Participate in application testing and issue resolution to improve performance, stability, and reliability.
• Use Git and version control workflows to manage code changes and support team collaboration.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in the mobile development process and application quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of high-quality mobile application components from development through maintenance.
• Ensure mobile applications are functional, responsive, and aligned with product and user requirements.
• Maintain code quality and support sustainable development practices across the mobile codebase.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent and seamless mobile experiences.
• Identify technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Support the continued enhancement of existing applications through updates, fixes, and optimization.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Flutter, React Native, Android development, or iOS development.
• Good understanding of mobile application development principles.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and database integration.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience working across both native and cross-platform mobile development environments.
• Familiarity with collaborating in cross-functional teams that include design, backend, and product stakeholders.
• Understanding of mobile application testing, debugging, and performance optimization practices.
• Exposure to maintaining and improving existing mobile applications after initial release.
