About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for improving software deployment processes, managing cloud infrastructure, and maintaining reliable development and production environments.

You will work closely with both development and operations teams to automate workflows, strengthen system reliability, and improve overall system performance. This position is well suited to someone who is comfortable working across infrastructure, deployment, and operational support in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

• Improve software deployment processes to make releases more efficient, consistent, and reliable.
• Manage cloud infrastructure that supports development and production workloads.
• Maintain stable and dependable development and production environments.
• Work closely with development and operations teams on day-to-day infrastructure and deployment needs.
• Automate workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot system, deployment, and environment issues as they arise.
• Support ongoing improvements to system performance and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the reliability and day-to-day effectiveness of development and production environments.
• Ensure deployment processes follow sound DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Maintain and support cloud-based infrastructure in line with operational requirements.
• Contribute to the adoption of automation across deployment and operational workflows.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve collaboration between development and operations.
• Identify issues proactively and help implement practical solutions that improve stability and performance.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Git and cloud platforms.
• Understanding of Linux and containerization technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting both development and production environments.
• Familiarity with workflow automation in infrastructure or deployment processes.
• Exposure to system performance monitoring and reliability improvements.
