About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Cloud Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and applications that support secure, reliable, and scalable business operations.

You will work across cloud environments to monitor performance, improve system reliability, and help ensure that infrastructure and applications are well supported. This role is well suited to someone with a solid foundation in cloud platforms, infrastructure, and networking, along with a practical, problem-solving mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

What You'll Do

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
• Monitor cloud environments to support performance, availability, and operational stability.
• Help improve system reliability across cloud-hosted services and infrastructure.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of secure and scalable cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and cloud-related issues and assist with resolving them efficiently.
• Work with team members to support day-to-day cloud operations and ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day support and maintenance of cloud infrastructure within the technology environment.
• Contribute to the design of cloud solutions that align with security, scalability, and reliability needs.
• Ensure cloud environments are properly monitored and maintained to reduce service disruption.
• Support infrastructure and application deployments in cloud environments.
• Identify operational issues and recommend practical improvements to cloud systems and processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to deliver dependable cloud services.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Linux.
• Familiarity with container technologies.
• Exposure to supporting cloud-based applications in production or operational environments.
• An interest in infrastructure reliability, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving cloud technologies and team priorities.
